Worked withe the SNDA Bright Smiles Mentoring Program, mentoring Crosstown High schoolers in their journey into higher education and career path. I learned different ways to current interviews are being conducted. This experience was impactful to the high schoolers and the mentors building a strong relationship and guiding them through this stressful transition.

I think the students really appreciated the college application workshop, especially since their counselors/English classes aren't really pushing them to start brainstorming for their personal statement/writing supplements

As someone who didn’t know the process of applying to schools as an child of immigrants parents, it has been gratifying and fulfilling to help students who have the academic rigor but lack of guidance in this academic sphere. I have enjoyed helping them learn more about dentistry and seeing how their insights about the profession has changed.
