Do you have a talent for storytelling, fundraising, and securing support for a cause?
The Coalition to End Homelessness is seeking a mission-driven leader with expertise in grant writing and fundraising strategy to join our Board of Directors.
This is a volunteer board position, including active participation on our Fundraising & Social Media Committee, helping us grow our donor base and sustain long-term impact.

Who We Are

The Coalition to End Homelessness believes homelessness is an economic crisis—not a personal failure.
We help working families get and stay housed by providing first, last, and security deposits, and by walking alongside families to support long-term stability.
Our mission: To end homelessness by changing lives.

Your Role on the Board

• Serve on the Fundraising & Social Media Committee

• Identify funding opportunities and contribute to grant applications

• Build relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors

• Support the design and promotion of fundraising campaigns

• Strengthen the Coalition’s financial sustainability and donor engagement

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or donor relations

• Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills

• Knowledge of philanthropic trends and funding cycles

• Creative, collaborative, and mission-aligned

• Availability of 5–10 hours/month

Board Member Expectations

• Attend quarterly board meetings and participate in committee work

• Help raise awareness and funds for the Coalition’s mission

• Represent the organization within your personal and professional networks

• Serve a renewable two-year term

• Make a personal or sourced financial contribution
