Memphis Street Health (MSH) is a student-run organization whose primary mission is to help those in the community who are underserved and those who are experiencing homelessness. We achieve this via different projects we do with our local community partners. A example include the Foot Care Service we do at St. John's UMC where we allow patrons to get their feet looked at to make sure there are no open sores and to connect them with local health care resources in Memphis. Another example is the work we do with Cavalry Baptist Chruch where we help furnish portable mattress for patrons to sleep on and then serve them food afterrwards and provide them company. Future projects were are working on include expanding healthcare resources to the Refugee population. We are doing these things with the power of UTHSC students and are making a tremendous impact on the local community.
