About

STUDENTS Speak Up for Kids exists to work with leaders who want to impact the every day challenges of foster kids and parents.  STUDENTS who join us participate in activities that support Speak Up for Kids  and their work to help mitigate trauma and cultivate self worth for kids living in the foster care system.

Here you may participate in either individual or group activities to get community service hours for:

  • Leading or joining a chapter at your school.
  • Creating and organizing a group or individual project.
  • Teaching music lessons to kids in foster care.
  • Becoming a student intern with Speak Up for Kids.
  • Joining our podcast team.
  • Using your skills to teach, write, or create video.
  • Becoming an awareness advocarte.
